    Motilal Oswal PMS Volume% Commission

This type of Fees Structure is dependent entirely on the total number of transactions done by the Fund Manager. It also depends on the market & other aspects of investment. This kind of commission model generally leads to a high commission payout.

    Volume% Commission (Yearly)
Transaction Volume – 2.5 cr. – 5.0 cr.0.2% of the Total Transaction Volume
Transaction Volume – 5.0 cr. – 10.0 Cr.0.18% of the Total Transaction Volume
Transaction Volume – 10.0 Cr. – 50.0 Cr.0.16% of the Total Transaction Volume
Transaction Volume – 50 Cr. Plus0.14% of the Total Transaction Volume

In the Volume commission model, the commission amount depends on the market situation & how loyal is the Fund Manager.

If the yearly transaction volume is between Rs.2.5 crore to Rs.5 crore, the Management fees charged are 0.2% of the total transaction volume. If it is between Rs.5 crore to Rs.10 crore, the fee is 0.18% of the total transaction amount.

Now, with high transaction volume, commission decreases i.e. with a transaction volume of Rs.10 crore to Rs.50 crore, the charges are 0.16% of the total volume. If the transaction volume goes beyond Rs.50 crore, the management fees charged are 0.14% of the total transaction volume.

Although the charges fixed are yearly, they are charged by Motilal Oswal on monthly basis.

Motilal Oswal PMS Profit Sharing% Commission

This is the most convenient model for any investor as the Management fees are paid only once the profit is realized. In this model generally, the percentage is very high & risk is low.

    Profit Sharing% Commission (Yearly)
    Profit Amount – 10L – 50L20% of Profit
    Profit Amount – 50L – 2.5 Cr.18% of Profit
    Profit Amount – 2.5 Cr. – 5.0 Cr.16% of Profit
Profit Amount – 5.0 Cr. Plus14% of Profit

Profit Sharing model is the most convenient model for the client as it is entirely dependent on the performance of the portfolio. Generally, this model is provided by Motilal Oswal to only those clients who are already with them for over 3 years & have huge portfolios.
