Edelweiss Lite Plan
The broking house has launched a new plan, i.e. Edelweiss Lite plan. It follows the discount brokerage model where a client can trade with a flat brokerage of Rs.10 per executed order across segments.
In this plan, the client will have to perform all the trading by himself; extra charges are available for Call & Trade, i.e. Rs.20 per call. Pay-in is also chargeable for Rs.10 per transfer.
For all Segments, Edelweiss Lite Plan offers Rs.10 per Trade.
Edelweiss Elite Plan
The Edelweiss Elite plan works on the model of full-service broking, where brokerage is charged based on a percentage of the transaction.
Rest all services like Call n Trade, Pay-in, Pay-out & other services are free. The charges levied by the company are based on the percentage of the transaction.
It charges 0.30% for equity delivery trading, 0.03% for equity intraday trading and equity futures trading, and 0.02% for currency futures trading.
Apart from this, the company charges Rs.75 per lot on equity options trading and Rs.20 per lot on currency options trading.
Edelweiss Demat AMC is Free for 1st Year for both plans. In the case of the Elite plan, it remains free, but in the case of the Lite Plan, AMC is charged Rs.300 per annum.
