    Apart from brokerage and transaction charges, there are many other charges which play important role in share trading. At Kotak, if you want to reactivate your account you would have to pay Rs. 50 for each segment you would like to trade.

    For instance, Rs. 50 for equity intraday, another Rs. 50 currency futures and so on. On the contrary, if you want to close your account with Kotak Securities, you have to again pay the same amount of Rs. 50 for each of the segments.

    As given in the table above, for the dematerialization of shares, you need to pay a certain percentage of the number of shares as per the segment or the asset class.

    The Rematerialization of shares is Rs. 10 per 100 shares however, the minimum amount should be Rs. 15 at least.

    There are no charges for DPO transactions credit while for debit transactions, you will be paying 0.04% of the value of the shares sold.
