    Up = (high + low / 2 + multiplier  x  ATR

    Down = (high + low) / 2 – multiplier x ATR

    Average true range calculation:

    [(Prior ATR x 13) + Current TR] / 14

    Under this, 14 is nothing but the period. Thus, ATR is calculated by multiplying the last ATR by 13. All you need to do is add the most recent TR value and then divide it by the duration.
