Is PAN Card mandatory for IPO Investment?

Since July 2006, SEBI has made PAN card/number compulsory for IPO applicants. The applicants who submit their forms without or with wrong PAN number in it are considered as faulty applications and are rejected for IPO allotment.

So double check your PAN number before you submit your IPO application. If you are filling the IPO form through online stock broker, provide him with your correct information and check twice.
