Stock Exchange to be shut on 16th Nov 2020

On November 16, the national stock exchange and the Bombay stock exchange will not open because of Diwali Balipratipada.

Many markets and sectors are not open like wholesale commodity markets, including metal and bullion.

The start of the equity market was good and on a positive note with the trading also closing high with Nifty above 12,750.

If explained briefly then the Sensex was up 194.98 points and the Nifty was up 50.60 points.

There is a lot of excitement in the market

Because of the whole festive vibes and season and which can be clearly seen in the growth and volumes.

There has been increased market participation since the last few months and that continues in the Muhurat trading as well.

Banking and financial services saw a good amount of increase.

BPCL, IOC, Tata Motors, HDFC Life and Sun Pharma were among major gainers on the Nifty.

Hindalo, Hero MotoCorp, JSW Steel, SBI and Bajaj Finance did not perform well on the Nifty.

Market is quite satisfactory at this point of time because the sales and growth has been good so far and one of the main reasons for the is the festive season.
