Bike taxi platform Rapido recently launched rental services in six Indian cities – Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Jaipur respectively.
With a first-of-its-kind multi-stop bike rental, it aims to render services to those customers who deal in multi-point errand running.
This is to avoid making multiple bookings and waiting for the ride to arrive to save time.
This service can be booked under a selected package duration of 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours.
Moreover, a dedicated Rapido driver partner will be available with the customer throughout the trip.
The Bike Captain is required to wear no cape but his 400-gram safety shield, creating a safety barrier between the Captain and the pillion.
However, driver partners also referred to as captains are eligible for this service and by default are enabled for Rental.
Further, Rapido strives to provide a better earning opportunity for the driver partners thereby improving their standard of living.
The company is currently targeting to augment the service by venturing in to 100 cities that Rapido is present in.
This rental concept is based on customer usage data analysis that derived the demand identifying people’s need to complete their daily tasks outside the home in one go.
Rapido Co-Founder Aravind Sanka was quoted saying “ This can be a short stopover to pick a few things from a local shop to longer/ multiple stops related to work or personal use. “
He further added, “We hope to provide a superior user experience and win-win situation for our customers and Captains“
