Profit jumps to 15% with Jio Q3 results, following ARPU growth

Jio Platform’s Ltd. Recently filed its quarter report of December 2020. Mukesh Ambani led digital venture had an average revenue increase based on per user increase. This rally is seen for the fifth quarter straight.

This growth has led by ARPU along with subscriber addition. The ARPU jumped to Rs 151 per month which was previously at Rs 145 for the last quarter.

The company is expected to launch 5G by the next few quarters. Kiran Thomas of Jio Platforms further added to her statement that the architecture along with the necessary solutions are also being assembled in-house.

Jio is also on the way of steering IOT or Internet of Things for connected cars, smart cities and smart metering along with connected assets.

The Jio Platform’s Ltd. has also swayed in 18 out of 22 circles on AGR revenue or adjusted gross revenue.

With this, the company stood to a close second in Tamil Nadu and Jammu & Kashmir. This data is presented by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India as per September 2020.

Since the telecom regulator banned the interconnect usage fee of 6 paise a minute, the company also rolled out free domestic calls to other operators.

The parent company Reliance Industries also reported a 12.6 percent profit raise. Although the operating profit and the revenue of the company declined.

Company had also witnessed a 12% month-on-month increase in the wired broadband segment in October.
