Jeff Bezos selling shares third time this year – Why?

Media reports are saying that the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos, sold almost 3 billion of its shares in the company on Wednesday.

Forbes reported citing documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said:

He sold 3 billion of the shares this week in the company which is equal to approximately 1.8 per cent of the stake.

Who bought the shares is still not clear and nobody knows.

But the transactions were made on 2 and 3 of November.

After cutting every tax Bezos is yet to receive somewhat  $2.3 billion.

Everybody knows who jeff Bezos is and he still remains the world richest man.

He still is at 1st also after seeking the shares to the company and Forbes stated his net worth of approximately of $189.6 billion.

In 2020 this is the 3 time he had seld the shares worth of total 10 billion taking the company’s stake lower to 10.6 per cent.

The first time he sold the shares was in February worth of 4 billion.

The second time in August with a total of $3.1 billion.

There was a report in Atlantic in which it was stated that jeff Bezos will sold the shares of $100 million to 4 groups.

2. the World Wildlife Fund

3. the Natural Resources Defense Council

4. Environmental Defense Fund
