The Axis Bank is about to release its Q3 reports on January 27, 2021. The brokerages are expecting the lender to report a modest loan growth.
However, an increase in the deposit is also expected. The NII may report a double-digit growth.
It is pointed out that the December quarter is likely to become the first quarter to reflect the underlying business trends. It will focus more on the asset quality only if they are allowed by the regulator.
A rise in the operating profit is also seen which is expected to be around 18.9 percent on year-on-year basis.
Experts believe that the lender’s gross NPA can stand at around 5 percent for the Q3 of FY21 whereas the net NPA is expected to come around 1.4 percent.
Also, many other brokerage firms are too of the belief that an 18.2 percent growth is expected in the NII. The net profit may climb up to 44.3 percent YoY.
If the lender implements better cost control policies, then the loan growth is likely to reach at 7 percent YoY.
This growth would be led by more focus on the retail. Operating profit is also expected to rise by 11 percent likewise.
